  16. "Transient" is a new electronic music group with dreams of the big time. At
  17. present we only have two members, Homer j and Naff. After knowing each other
  18. for years, we decided to put some of our tunes into an album length release.
  19. We're not out to sell any copies just yet, but you never can tell, can you?
  20. Although none of Naff's tunes appear on this particular album, he is still
  21. considered to be an integral part of Transient.

  23. Oh, by the way, if any group/individual would like to help release/spread
  24. our mods on a permanent basis, or if anyone is interested in joining up with
  25. us, or if you need a musician in your crew or music for your production,
  26. then just get in touch with us at one of the above addresses.

  30. This is a somewhat older tune that has already been uploaded to Aminet, but
  31. after some minor changes, (that only i would probably notice) i thought that
  32. it would be suitable for inclusion on the album.

  36. This mod is a fast moving, goa-trance-styled one with some rather good
  37. sounding beats and rhythms. There might not be much variation in it, but
  38. i like it anyway. I am trying some other styles now, so watch out!

  40. This mod was released mainly because i haven't put up anything in almost a
  41. month. I have around 5 basic beginnings, middles or ends of songs sitting on
  42. my hard drive, but i am having a bit of a dry spell regarding originality.
  43. One day soon i hope to have them finished and uploaded.

  45. All samples were taken from other mods. Following is a list of some of the
  46. samples and, according to my readme and text directories, where they came
  47. from and who wrote the tunes.

  55. Unfortunately, i can't remember the name of the mod where the last two
  56. samples come from, but i'm fairly certain it was by Phonetics (if i'm wrong,
  57. i'm sorry). I have tried to credit as many samples as i can. All the drum
  58. loops/patterns were made by me using an excellent program called Mod2Smp by
  59. hali/union. Thanks to all above (and others) who provided these fine
  60. samples. I hope they don't mind too much.
